The why behind my designs
For me, jewellery has always been more than decoration.
The pieces we wear every day become part of us. They gather memories, mark chapters and quietly accompany us through the moments that shape our lives.
I created Lulu and Boo for women who understand the strength that comes from lived experience. Women who have navigated challenges, grown through them, and are stepping into a stage of life that feels fully their own.
I want my jewellery to feel symbolic of that journey.
Not only of everything we as women have overcome and learned, but also of everything still ahead of us. The opportunities we will seize, the confidence we have built, the joy we are still discovering.
Each piece is designed to feel grounding and tactile. Jewellery with weight and presence that you instinctively reach for throughout the day. A ring turned thoughtfully on your finger. A pendant held absentmindedly in moments of reflection.
A quiet reminder of your strength.
That is why every Lulu and Boo piece is crafted in solid silver and gold. Never plated. Never temporary.
I believe the jewellery we wear closest to us should endure. It should feel real. Lasting. Permanent.
Just like us, as the women who love and wear it.
Meet the founder
With a lifelong love of jewellery, training and growing as a jeweller has been a true joy for Corinne. Today, she is supported by a small team of skilled UK jewellers who help bring each piece to life with exceptional craftsmanship and care.
But Lulu and Boo was born from something much more personal.
During the depths of peri-menopause, Corinne found herself struggling with anxiety and a loss of confidence and identity after years spent immersed in motherhood and a demanding career as an NHS midwife.
Reconnecting with creativity through jewellery making became transformative. What began as a personal outlet quickly grew into something much bigger as women deeply connected with both the jewellery and the story behind it.
Born from a frustration at not being able to find stylish, versatile jewellery crafted from solid precious metals rather than plated jewellery which consistently failed, Corinne learned to make jewellery, initially for herself and then her work started being noticed and requested, She then began designing and creating her own distinctive collections.
Drawn to the organic movement of molten silver and gold, she became fascinated by the way precious metals behave under heat. This fluidity continues to inspire the sculptural, tactile nature of every Lulu and Boo design.
Contemporary yet timeless, Lulu and Boo jewellery is designed for relaxed, effortless styling. Pieces that move with you through the rhythm of everyday life, from the gym to the office to dinner.
Never trend-led, each design is created to be worn constantly, lived in fully, and treasured for years to come.
Sustainable Jeweller
It is of huge importance to Corinne that Lulu and Boo has as minimal an environmental impact as possible.
Sustainablity is central to her business ethos. From the use of recycled precious metals and sourcing of ethically mined gemstones, down to the refining of filed silver and gold dust, all designs and processes are considered with the environment in mind. All making is kept within the UK so as to further minimise our impact on the environment
In no way fast fashion, pieces are designed to stand the test of time in terms of their design and quality. The packaging is luxurious but minimised and sourced carefully, made from recycled materials.
The traditional smithing methods we use are not only important to preserve and pass on but also have a minimal environmental impact.
