Autumn Updates

As we move into autumn, I thought it might be nice to share things I have been up to, things I am loving and I think you might love too. I'll also of course include any updates from Lulu & Boo Jewellery HQ.  This is for you so feel free to send ideas and contributions. Lets have a section you for your recommendations!

Laugh Out Loud!

How could it not be good with these two at the helm. Olivia and Benedict are hilarious as you watch their seemingly perfect marriage evolve and implode in spectacular fashion. I love anything with these two and had been so excited for this one. It did not disappoint!

Have you seen it? What did you think?

Another Trip Around the Sun

For any of you who follow me on social media, you will know that one of my favourite phrases is 'Trust the ugly phase" when I am making jewellery. What a fab cake topper on this showstopper of a pavlova baked by my sister. So long 50!

What I am reading...

I am a self confessed lover of a self help book and I am super excited to dive into this one. I am a huge advocate for all things nutrition and exercise and I think it is so important for us all to build strong bodies and nourish ourselves. We were only given one bod and if we want it to last there is only one person who can make that happen. Excited to learn and share Julia's top tips!

Do you have a book recommendation I can share going forward? Email me your favourites.

Autumn seems to have unleashed my never seen before, Jam making era!

There is a shelf in my fridge which will take no more. I have had to source more jars from Stella next door and if I can forage it, there is a Jam in bound.

So far there is blackberry, plum, fig and marrow and ginger. YUM! I remember visiting a friend of my Nan's in Exeter as a child and she used to feed me marrow jam. It has stayed with me all this time so I bunged it in the Ninja soup maker (YES! It makes jam!) and hey presto, the most delicious jam.

I have no affiliation with Ninja but I swear this soup maker is a revelation. Soup is effortless and the most delicious way to use up every last scrap and then it makes Jam too. I am sure other makes are available but I really can recommend this one.

Recipe below. I basically just substituted equivalent amounts of plums, marrow, figs and I have a fridge full of delicious treats to see me through my weekend morning treat of Jam on Sourdough. Delish!

I have got a fridge full of cooking apples, send me your chutney recipes! Who am I?
